The Dream a work of art by Nasser Ovissi, an Iranian painter and artist, will be auctioned in Dubai by Bonhams.
Born in 1934, Nasser Ovissi is known for his neo-traditionalist painting which draw key visual elements from ancient Persian miniature painting.
His works can be seen in both private and public collections across Europe, Asia and the United States.
‘The Dream,’ has an estimated value of US$25,000 – 35,000.
The auction is at the Royal Mirage Hotel at 7pm on 3rd March 2008. A jewellery and watches auction will be held on the 4th March at the Royal Mirage Hotel.
Viewings are open to the public on Friday 29th February (2-10pm), Saturday 1st March (12-5pm) and Sunday 2nd March (2-10pm). For more information contact duabi@bonhams.com
