The government has postponed the auction of Lebanon’s two cellular companies from February 22 to May 1 to await the creation of a national unity government, an official said on Monday. “The government decided to delay the auction for few months to determine if a broader cabinet will be formed,” Ziad Hayek, the president of the Higher Privatization Council, told The Daily Star. www.dailystar.com
