International fine art auction house Bonhams is to open a sales office in Duba.

Bonhams Dubai will be a joint venture with the family of former UAE Ambassador to Great Britain and Western Europe, Mohammed Mahdi Al Tajir - a prominent collector across the arts.

The first auction will include Islamic works of art and contemporary Indian, Arab and Iranian art.
